Thank you for being here, my name is Uswa. I am an intern pursuing my Masters in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy at UCF.  I have dedicated my education and training to becoming a well-rounded counselor student at your disposal. Cultural competency has always been a priority for me. Coming from a collectivistic background while growing up in an individualistic environment I have substantial experience in understanding how hard it is to balance the two. I value an integrated systems approach as well as delving into faith-based discussion when needed. I believe our relationships are what make us who we are whether that be with a caregiver or a romantic partner. I have a very direct approach to counseling, with open-minded reflection to rectify and unify.
